IHC FOR CMV

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is an opportunistic pathogen infecting lung, GIT & other organs in immunologically immature fetus or neonates as well as in immunocompromised individuals eg. transplant patients, HIV & patients on chemotherapy. This immunostain is useful in the identification of CMV infection in tissues. There is no crossreactivity with other Herpesviruses or Adenoviruses.
