Troponin-T is a marker of Acute Myocardial Infarction rising 2-4 hours after the onset of Myocardial necrosis and can remain elevated for up to 14 days. High levels are also seen in Unstable angina. It may also be used in monitoring patients with non-ischemic causes of cardiac injury.
